Spanish sports update: Marbella FC faces CD Badajoz and BM Maracena loses to Mijas

In Spanish football, Marbella FC is scheduled to visit CD Badajoz this Sunday at 17:00 for a match in the sixth round of Segunda Federación Group 4. This marks the fourth time the two teams have met in official competition with Badajoz playing at home. Historical records show previous encounters in the Segunda B division, including draws in the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 seasons and a 1-0 victory for Badajoz in 2019/2020.

In handball, BM Maracena suffered a 30-25 defeat against Mijas. Despite leading for much of the first half through strong defensive work and a fluid attack, the Granada-based team lost their advantage after the break. Fede Rodríguez led the scoring for Maracena with eight goals, followed by Manu Rodríguez with four. Maracena currently holds fourth place in the Segunda División Nacional standings and will next face BM Málaga.
