Spanish startups Nuubo and Niubiq announce new funding developments

Valencia-based medtech company Nuubo, officially known as Smart Solutions Technologies, has launched its second venture capital fund, Nuubo Investments II. The fund has received approval from the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). Managed by Cross Road Biotech Inversiones Biotecnológicas, the fund aims to make primary and secondary investments in Nuubo or its subsidiaries. The company specializes in sudden death prevention through advanced monitoring technology and sensors.

In a separate development, the Castellon-based commercial intelligence startup Niubiq has closed a €410,000 funding round. The round was led by Angels Capital, the investment firm of Mercadona president Juan Roig. Other participants included Elephant and the Órbita Investment Club. Niubiq provides a platform that analyzes the complete journey of sales leads to help companies understand conversion processes. The new capital will be used to scale the business and strengthen the company's team.
