Spain's Summer Food & Drink Scene Showcases New Cocktails, Menus and Recipes

A variety of summer culinary offerings have been announced across Spain and a US venue. Spanish beverage producers have launched several Mediterranean‑style drinks: the gin MG Brisa from Barcelona, Freixenet Solare spritz, Cal Bardera vermouth made with garnacha tinta and the limited‑edition Freixenet Mallorca sparkling wine (6,919 bottles).

In Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Rose Cafe & Restaurant introduced a summer programme that includes a 50 % wine‑discount promotion, a July 4 “Red, White & Bloom” BBQ event and watch‑parties for the 2026 World Cup with themed menus.

In Vejer de la Frontera, the restaurant Las Delicias extended its opening hours (12:00‑23:30, seven days a week) and refreshed its menu to highlight local products such as Almadraba red tuna and retinto beef, adding both traditional and contemporary preparations.

Spanish chefs Pablo Albuerne, Cristina Oria and Martín Berasategui highlighted cucumber as the key ingredient for fresh summer salads, each offering a distinct recipe.

Additional summer recipes circulated, including three gazpacho variations (tomato, watermelon, melon), a cold tomato‑strawberry soup with hazelnut crumble, and a raspberry‑banana no‑machine ice‑cream.

Emilio Moro introduced a five‑wine summer collection—Re‑wine Your Summer—featuring the whites Revelía, Bestizo, El Alba, the rosé La Felisa and the mineral‑driven El Zarzal.

Madrid’s Michelin‑starred Sen Omakase showcased a patented ferment called senko, used in non‑alcoholic drinks and to enhance Japanese‑style dishes.
