Spanish swimmers report Russian team copying choreography

Spanish artistic swimmer Iris Tió has reported that members of the Russian team observed and copied Spanish choreography during the 2026 European Championships at the Saint-Denis Olympic Aquatic Centre. Tió stated that the Russian team took notes and mental photographs of their routines, which contributed to Russia winning the European title by gaining higher difficulty scores through these copied figures.
