Spanish tech and university bodies prioritize AI and youth talent development
The Fundación Universidad‑Empresa (FUE) held its semi‑annual meeting in Madrid, approving its 2025 accounts and outlining a roadmap that places artificial intelligence, young talent and territorial‑international collaboration at its core. The foundation highlighted progress in programmes such as Somos Futuro, Chapters by FUE, Movers by FUE and the Sello Empresa Impulsora del Talento Joven, which together aim to link universities, companies and public administrations to create training, internship and first‑job opportunities in emerging sectors.
At the same time, AMETIC’s General Assembly brought together more than 70 technology companies to discuss AI, European technological autonomy, industrial competitiveness, sustainability and the development of digital talent. The meeting featured a speech by the head of the European Commission’s representation in Spain, underscoring the close link between Spanish industry and EU policy on innovation and digital transformation.
