Spanish television networks suspend programming following Urda train accident

Spanish television networks, including the public broadcaster La 1, have modified their regular programming to provide special coverage of a railway accident in Urda, Toledo.

As a result of the tragedy, scheduled episodes of series such as ‘La Promesa’ and ‘Valle Salvaje’ were canceled to make room for continuous news updates. The broadcaster also suspended the program ‘La Revuelta’. Other networks, such as Antena 3, similarly adjusted their schedules by canceling ‘El Hormiguero’ and daily fiction series to focus on the unfolding situation.
