Spanish Tercera RFEF clubs announce player renewals and league‑slot purchase
CF Pobla de Mafumet, the reserve team of Nàstic de Tarragona, confirmed the contract extensions of three key players—captain Albert Querol, defender Xavier Samper and midfielder Roger Ciuró—through June 2027 as the club prepares for its return to the Tercera RFEF.
Castelló B paid €380,464.16 to acquire a vacant Segunda RFEF place left by Tarassona, which forced Atlètic Lleida to drop to the Tercera RFEF. The club announced the signings of goalkeeper Marc Ibáñez and right‑back Pablo Sánchez on loan, and extended the loan of goalkeeper Pepo Campanera. The developments illustrate the ongoing restructuring of squads and league placements in Spain’s fourth tier.
Separately, FC Barcelona is seeking a €210 million cash injection from future TV‑rights revenue to fund summer transfers, including a €20 million bid for Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi.
