Spanish towns announce heralds for 2027 Holy Week

Various Spanish municipalities have announced the heralds for their 2027 Holy Week celebrations.

In Antequera, the Agrupación de Cofradías has named Juan Pablo García-Berdoy y Cerezo as the herald. A diplomat and ‘Hijo Predilecto de la Ciudad’, García-Berdoy is recognized for his family's historical ties to the city and the Cofradía de la Soledad.

In Albox, Francisco Javier Rodríguez Carricondo, known as Kiko, has been selected as the herald. A civil engineer and secretary of the Cofradía de Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno, Rodríguez Carricondo is deeply involved in local religious traditions. The proclamation in Albox is scheduled for February 21, 2027.
