Spanish towns announce new festival queens for upcoming celebrations

Local festivities in Spain have announced their new representatives for upcoming celebrations. In El Grao de Castellón, María Gómez Vicente has been named the Queen of the Sant Pere 2027 festivities, while Martina Boix Martí will serve as the Children's Queen and Yahir Fernández de Marcos Llorens as the Children's President. The announcement took place at the La Marineda Cultural Center in the presence of local officials.

In Segorbe, Zara Soler Bonillo and Alba García Narváez have been proclaimed the Queen and Children's Queen for the 2026 patron saint festivals, respectively. The proclamation ceremony was held at the Pau Botanical Garden. Soler, who previously served as Children's Queen, expressed her excitement at returning to represent the city alongside her cousin, Alba García.
