Spanish municipal councils approve budgets and motions in Bellaterra and Inca

The Bellaterra municipal council met on 20 July 2026, approving the 2026 investment budget, the 2025 general account and a motion urging the Catalan government to enact a law for decentralized municipal entities. The session also addressed a €47,000 electrical upgrade at the Turó de Sant Pau civic centre and defended a local media subsidy.

The Inca city council scheduled a regular meeting for 23 July 2026. Its agenda includes ratifying the previous meeting's minutes, launching a twinning proposal with Aguilar de la Frontera, thanking a charitable organization, and several commission reports covering extrajudicial credit recognition, traffic ordinance amendments, civil‑protection planning, and urban‑plan modifications. A motion by Vox seeks the preservation and promotion of the "Himne d’Inca" as cultural heritage.
