Galicia celebrates summer with festivals, concerts and street arts

The municipality of Redondela opened its summer programme with two days of free concerts and traditional music on July 24‑25, featuring local groups such as Anaquiños, Froles Mareliñas and national acts like Noiteson.

Vigo hosted the three‑day Festa da Cultura at the Porta do Sol, presenting 23 performances and more than 400 participants to showcase the city’s folk music and dance.

In Nigrán, the council allocated €15,000 to continue the "Vivindo Saúde‑Acompaña" programme, providing personalised support to 25 people with severe mental‑health disorders and easing the burden on their families.

Ribadesella’s summer cultural itinerary brought outdoor shows to the rural villages of Ardines, Lloviu, Torre, El Alisal and Camangu, including pop‑rock, folk, comedy and clown acts.
