Spanish towns expand youth study spaces and public services

The Depósitos de Cádiz announced that its study rooms will remain open with extended hours—from 08:00 until 02:00—through 1 July, aiming to meet demand from students and professionals during exam periods.

In Barbadás, the PSOE municipal group has tabled a motion for the council meeting on 6 July to require the Casa da Mocidade to stay open on weekends and school holidays, adding that the centre needs additional staff, programming and facilities to serve local youth.

The Jerez city youth delegation will operate a Summer Study Classroom in Sala Paúl from 1 July to 31 August, offering weekday sessions from 09:30‑13:30 and 17:00‑21:00 and Saturday sessions from 09:00‑13:30. The city also introduced a revised summer bus timetable, keeping the full fleet in service and extending operating hours, with a re‑routed Line 17 to improve connectivity to the hospital and densely populated districts.
