Spanish towns host summer traditional fairs in August

The municipality of Murias in Aller organized a traditional market on Sunday, featuring live demonstrations of historic trades, musical performances, free shuttle buses between Moreda and Murias, and a series of cultural programs including street art, theatre, and open‑air cinema throughout August.

In Almendralejo, the Feria del Comercio returned for three days (6‑8 August) in Plaza de Espronceda, highlighting local merchants with a market, musical shows, a homage to a longtime trader, children’s workshops, and promotional activities aimed at boosting small‑business sales.

Both events emphasize regional customs, promote local commerce, and provide family‑friendly entertainment as part of the summer festival calendar.
