Spanish towns launch new municipal parking projects in Tenerife and Toledo

The municipality of Granadilla de Abona on Tenerife will begin construction in September on the island’s first modular parking structure. The five‑month project, costing over €2.6 million, will add 180 spaces in El Médano and feature a prefabricated, reusable design that could be replicated elsewhere in the municipality.

In Toledo, Spain, the city council has started work on a new parking facility in the La Legua neighbourhood. The €100,000 project is expected to be completed within a few months and aims to ease traffic congestion near local sports facilities, improving safety and mobility for residents.
