Spanish towns launch summer sports and arts competitions

The municipality of Medina de las Torres announced the organization of two summer sports tournaments – an absolute futsal cup and a padel competition – to be held at the municipal swimming pool and padel courts, with registrations open via WhatsApp.

In the nearby town of Miguelturra, the local council and the provincial Diputación announced the 48th "Carta Puebla" arts competition, offering €6,000 in prizes and a purchase commission for selected works, with digital submissions open from July 15 to September 7 and a gala scheduled for October 16.

Both events aim to promote community participation and cultural activity during the summer season.
