Spanish Trail Races in Soria and Navarre Draw Hundreds of Runners

The XII Carrera del Torrezno took place in Chércoles, Soria, with about 150 participants tackling a 17‑kilometre trail. Pablo Sánchez and Nicolás Lamón finished together in 1:14:15, with Sánchez declared the winner, while Carmelo Lucena completed the podium. Virginia Quellca won the women's race in 1:29:20.

In Falces, Navarre, the XII Pilón Trail set a participation record, attracting 424 registrants and 360 finishers across three distances. Ibai Zarrabeiti claimed victory in the longest 15‑kilometre course with a time of 1:16:29, followed by Jon Vega and Jon Vallejo. The event also featured a strong female performance and highlighted the growing popularity of trail running in the region.
