Spanish unions CCOO and UGT dispute regional collective agreements in Sevilla and Guadalajara

In Sevilla, logistics workers represented by CCOO, UGT and CGT have called for equalised wages with other Andalusian provinces. A meeting of the regional mediation body (SERCLA) ended without an agreement, prompting the unions to schedule further strikes from 22‑26 June and to accuse the employer federation UNO of a lack of negotiating will.

In Guadalajara, CCOO has denounced the new collective bargaining agreement for the commerce sector, signed by UGT and the employer association, as a “betrayal”. The pact introduces stricter rules on temporary‑disability pay, limits wage increases to 3 % this year and 2 % in subsequent years, and sets a five‑year duration that CCOO says hampers future bargaining. The union plans to lodge formal complaints but stresses that the dispute will not jeopardise broader union cooperation.
