Spanish universities announce new degree programs and admission results
The University of Oviedo has released its final admission lists for the 2026-2027 academic year. The most competitive program is the double degree in Software Computer Engineering and Mathematics, which requires a minimum grade of 13.000 for its nine available spots. Other high-demand programs include Medicine (12.900), Dentistry (12.740), and Biotechnology (12.466). Enrollment for these programs is open from September 17 to September 23.
Meanwhile, UNED has announced the addition of new academic offerings for the upcoming course, including a degree in Artificial Intelligence Engineering and a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. The university is also introducing three new double degrees: Mathematics and Physics, Psychology and Criminology, and Economics and Mathematics. UNED utilizes a hybrid model of online teaching and in-person tutoring, with registration open until October 21. Unlike other institutions, these specific new programs do not have minimum grade requirements, provided students have passed the EBAU or hold a Higher Vocational Training degree.
