Spanish water technology sector prepares for major 2027 international trade fairs

Spanish water technology companies are expanding their international presence through major upcoming industry events. ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones will lead the ‘Pabellón España’ at Aquatech Amsterdam 2027, scheduled for March 9–12 in the Netherlands. This initiative aims to connect Spanish firms with buyers from Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and Latin America.

Domestically, the SMAGUA 2027 International Water, Irrigation, and Environment Fair in Zaragoza has reached full occupancy in three of its pavilions. Due to high demand, organizers are considering opening a fourth pavilion for the event, which is set for February 16–18, 2027. The fair will feature nine specialized sectors and include commercial missions involving buyers from over 26 countries.
