Spanish wine and hospitality groups form strategic alliance

Hostelería de España, the Spanish Wine Federation (FEV), and the Interprofessional Wine Organization of Spain (OIVE) have signed a permanent collaboration agreement to promote wine culture within the hospitality sector. The pact aims to strengthen the role of bars, restaurants, and Horeca establishments as essential venues for discovering and valuing Spanish wine.

Signed in Requena, Valencia, the alliance focuses on six strategic areas: improving product knowledge and training for Horeca professionals, promoting enogastronomic tourism, environmental and social sustainability, encouraging responsible consumption, supporting the candidacy of 'tapeo' as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and developing initiatives in rural Spain.
