Spanish Wine Federation holds strategic meetings in Jerez

The Spanish Wine Federation (FEV) convened its Territorial Action and Marketing and Communication Committees in Jerez de la Frontera this week. The meetings brought together representatives from wineries and wine associations across Spain to discuss the sector's challenges and future prospects.

Hosted in collaboration with the Federation of Wineries of the Jerez Region (FedeJerez), the event included institutional participation from local leaders, including the mayor of Jerez, María José García-Pelayo, and the president of the regulatory body, César Saldaña. Discussions focused on the current state of the viticultural sector and the historical importance of the Jerez region in the national wine industry.

With the 2026 harvest concluded, participants reviewed harvest data and analyzed outlooks for the new wine campaign that commenced in August. Representatives from various member associations shared regional data and experiences regarding harvest timelines and commercial trends.
