Spanish wineries offer immersive grape harvest experiences

Several Spanish wineries are offering immersive harvest experiences to connect travelers with the viticulture process.

Torre del Marqués, a five-star hotel in Monroyo, Teruel, is hosting activities during the first three Saturdays of September. Guests can tour the organic vineyards of Mas de Llucia via 4x4, participate in grape harvesting, and observe the production process in the winery, followed by a tasting and a paired menu.

Bodegas Monteabellón is also hosting an “Immersion in the Terroir” event at Finca La Blanquera on October 3. This participatory activity includes soil and altitude testing, vineyard walks, and a tasting of four different wines. The program aims to demonstrate how terrain and environment influence the character of the wine.
