Spanish women's football teams debut in Tercera RFEF

Several Spanish women's football teams have begun their campaigns in the Tercera RFEF.

CF Igualada suffered a 2-1 defeat against AEM B in Lleida. After falling behind 2-0 early in the match, the team led by José González improved their performance in the second half. Gina scored for Igualada in the 61st minute, and although the team pushed for an equalizer and hit the post, they were unable to secure a draw.

In contrast, CD Algeciras FS marked a historic milestone with their debut in the category, securing a 1-1 draw against Sporting Club B in Huelva. Following an early goal by Marta Cotallo, Alba Villanueva equalized for Algeciras in the 25th minute. Despite several close chances, including a shot that hit the post, the match ended in a stalemate.
