Spanish youth football league groups set for 2026‑27 season
The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) approved the group composition for the 2026‑27 División de Honor Juvenil, the top tier of Spanish youth football, after a meeting with the presidents of the autonomous federations.
Club Deportivo Toledo's Juvenil A was placed in Group V together with clubs from the Community of Madrid, Extremadura and the two other Castilla‑La Mancha representatives, Albacete Balompié and CF Talavera de la Reina, guaranteeing regional derbies and matches against the academies of Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid, Rayo Vallecano and Getafe.
Granada's Juvenil side was assigned to Group 4, where it will compete with Andalusian clubs such as Betis, Sevilla, Almería, Cádiz, Málaga and others, plus teams from Ceuta and Melilla. The other groups were also outlined: Group 1 for Galicia, Cantabria and Asturias; Group 2 for the Basque Country, Castile and León and La Rioja; Group 3 for Catalonia, Navarra and Aragón; Group 5 for Madrid, Castilla‑La Mancha and Extremadura; Group 6 for the Canary Islands; and Group 7 for the Valencian Community, Murcia and the Balearic Islands.
A notable change involves the Basque clubs: Athletic Bilbao, Osasuna and Real Sociedad‑affiliated teams were moved to Group III, joining Catalan and Aragonese clubs, while the three Navarrese teams were excluded. The Vizcaya clubs' roster expands to six, with promotions of Arratia and Indautxu alongside the regulars Athletic, Leioa, Danok Bat and Santutxu.
