Sparkasse Schweinfurt‑Haßberge donates €500 to Regiomontanus Grundschule Königsberg for Soma cubes

The Sparkasse Schweinfurt‑Haßberge provided a €500 donation to the Regiomontanus‑Grundschule in Königsberg, Landkreis Haßberge, Germany. The funds will be used to purchase Soma‑Würfel, a three‑dimensional puzzle consisting of seven interlocking pieces designed to improve children’s spatial awareness, logical thinking and concentration.

Board chairman Peter Schleich presented the donation together with former mayor Claus Bittenbrünn. School rector Elke Ankenbrand said the Soma cubes would allow the school to acquire a class set and a larger foam model for collaborative classroom work, enhancing practical, play‑based mathematics instruction.
