Sparkasse Wuppertal donates 105,000 euros to local sports clubs

Sparkasse Wuppertal has distributed 105,000 euros in donations to support local sports clubs in Wuppertal. By the end of August, the funds were allocated across 14 institutions and 20 specific projects.

The donations aim to fund various initiatives, including building renovations, outdoor facility improvements, new equipment, and clothing. Some funds are also directed toward projects that facilitate access to sports, contribute to climate protection, and strengthen community cohesion.

In addition to these recent funds, the Sparkasse has donated nearly 70,000 euros to Wuppertal sports since the beginning of the year. The organization also supports charitable projects in education, culture, social services, and the environment, with total annual contributions through various channels reaching approximately five million euros.
