Sparta Prague bolsters squad with new striker Ebrima Singhateh and defender Viktor Vitályos

Sparta Prague has begun its pre‑season training, announcing several new acquisitions. Gambian forward Ebrima Singhateh and Hungarian goalkeeper Krisztián Hegyi arrived, while 18‑year‑old Hungarian defender Viktor Vitályos, signed in February, is now part of the squad. Dutch midfielder Sivert Mannsverk completed a permanent transfer after a loan from Ajax.

The club also welcomed back several players after stints abroad, including Karabec from Lyon, and returning loanees Ondřej Kukučka, Dominik Hollý and Martin Suchomel. Coach Brian Priske must cope with numerous absences as Czech internationals Jan Kuchta, Hugo Sochůrek and Jaroslav Zelený are at the World Cup, and other squad members remain in recovery. Sparta finished the previous season without a trophy, ending second in the league and exiting early from European and domestic cups.
