Ki-Jana Hoever joins Sparta Prague as Armin Spahić moves to Russia

Several notable football transfers have been finalized. Ki-Jana Hoever, a 24-year-old Dutch defender, has completed a permanent move from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Sparta Prague. Hoever, who previously spent time in the academies of Ajax and Liverpool, signed a multi-year contract with the Czech club. Sparta Prague's sporting director, Tomáš Rosický, praised Hoever's experience in the Premier League, Championship, and Ligue 1, noting his speed and technical quality.

In another move, Armin Spahić has transferred from FK Velež Mostar to the Russian side Spartak Kostroma. The striker, who joined Velež in early 2026, recorded eight goals and three assists in 28 appearances for the Bosnian club. Velež is expected to receive approximately 600,000 KM for the transfer. Spahić has signed a three-year contract with the Russian club.
