Sparta: Three masked men rob elderly man and his mother

Three masked individuals broke into a home in Sparta during the early hours of August 15, robbing a 63-year-old man and his 90-year-old mother. The incident occurred around 03:30.

The perpetrators used violence to immobilize the 63-year-old man, stealing a gold chain with a cross. The commotion woke the 90-year-old woman; while the attackers did not use violence against her, they stole her bag containing 70 euros before fleeing the scene.

The Sparta Crime Investigation Department is currently conducting an investigation to identify and locate the suspects. The 63-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital and is reported to be in non-critical condition.
