Spartak Varna overcomes Etar in Sesame Cup comeback

Spartak Varna secured a 4-2 comeback victory against Etar in the 1/16-finals of the Sesame Cup of Bulgaria. Despite trailing 2-0 within the first half-hour following goals from Georgi Aleksandrov and Martin Nikolov, the Varna-based team responded with four unanswered goals in the second half.

Jota Lopes initiated the comeback by scoring a precise shot into the near corner. This was followed by a goal from Chidera Okoh, who converted a cross from Lopes after Dimo Krustev provided a technical assist with a backheel.

Spartak Varna coach Vasil Petrov praised the team's character and attacking style, noting that the squad had to rely on young players due to existing roster challenges. Petrov also commended Etar's high-intensity football and tactical ideas during the match.
