Spartan Misano 2026 attracts 6,000 athletes from 45 countries

The Spartan Misano 2026 event concluded on September 19 and 20, drawing over 6,000 participants from more than 45 countries to Misano Adriatico. The competition featured Sprint, Super, and Beast categories, along with a Spartan Kids division and a festival area.

A notable highlight of this edition was the debut of the Spartan Beast course within the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, which included a 3.5-kilometer route through the circuit areas.

The event follows a high-traffic month for sports in the region, which also hosted the International Bike Festival and the Red Bull Gran Premio di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini. Misano Mayor Fabrizio Piccioni noted the importance of the event to the local tourism season and announced that the next edition is scheduled for September 18 and 19, 2027, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Spartan Race in Misano.
