Caritas Verden expands Christmas charity initiative

The Caritas association in Verden is expanding its annual Wunschbaum (wish tree) campaign to cover the entire Verden district for the first time. The initiative is designed to support children from low-income families by fulfilling specific gift requests.

Starting November 2, children up to the age of twelve can submit wish lists for gifts valued at a maximum of 35 euros. The distribution of these lists will take place at various locations, including Verden, Kirchlinteln, Dörverden, Thedinghausen, Langwedel, Ottersberg, and Oyten.

Wish trees will be displayed at town halls and Caritas facilities in Verden, Langwedel, and Oyten starting November 12. The deadline for submitting the requested gifts is December 11.
