SPBU Palanga accused of manipulating subsidized diesel stocks in Bone

Allegations of subsidized diesel fuel manipulation have surfaced at the SPBU Palanga gas station on Jalan Sungai Musi, Watampone, in Bone Regency. A minibus driver reported that after queuing for a long time, staff claimed diesel stocks were exhausted. However, after the driver lodged a formal protest, the station proceeded to serve his vehicle and the one immediately behind him.

The driver expressed suspicion that staff may be falsely claiming stock shortages to mislead the subsidized fuel task force (Satgas) and regular customers. This tactic is allegedly used to hide stock from inspectors so it can be diverted to unauthorized parties or collectors. The incident has raised questions regarding the effectiveness of the Satgas BBM Bersubsidi Merah Putih in Bone Regency in preventing the misappropriation of subsidized fuel.
