SPD announces municipal election priorities for Brno

The SPD political movement has announced its priorities for the upcoming municipal elections in Brno. Candidate for mayor Jiří Kment has pledged to combat homelessness by establishing a day center, an initiative estimated to cost between 20 and 40 million CZK.

Other key proposals for Brno include increasing the number and strategic deployment of municipal guards, deploying mobile cleaning units to address illegal waste sites, and capping the prices of municipal apartments. The movement also aims to accelerate the completion of the city's ring road (VMO) through land acquisitions and focus on constructing cooperative housing for ordinary citizens.
