SPD politicians conduct regional tours across Hessen
German SPD politicians are conducting regional tours across Hessen to engage with local communities and address infrastructure and supply issues.
In the Waldeck-Frankenberg district, SPD state parliament members Oliver Ulloth and Maximilian Ziegler began a 700-kilometer bicycle tour. The tour includes visits to various clubs, associations, and companies to discuss sports, transport, and infrastructure. During their stop in Homberg (Efze), they visited the Sportpark am Stellberg to discuss social cohesion through sports.
In the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district, the SPD district parliamentary group from Fulda visited the Tante-Enso market in Hohenroda-Mansbach. The visit focused on cooperative-based local supply models in rural areas. This follows announcements regarding the closure of several Tegut markets, with plans to transition some locations into Tante-Enso markets through community-based cooperative models to ensure sustainable local food access.
