Spear Street Technology reaches $10 billion valuation led by Noah Shinn

Noah Shinn, a 23-year-old founder, has gained significant attention in Silicon Valley with his AI startup, Spear Street Technology, which reached a $10 billion valuation following funding rounds in 2026.

Unlike traditional chatbots that focus on answering questions, Shinn’s company is developing Instinct, an AI assistant designed to perform autonomous tasks on a computer. The technology aims to handle practical actions such as managing emails, making restaurant reservations, and adjusting travel plans to reduce manual user input.

The company’s foundation stems from research Shinn conducted as a student under MIT professor Ashwin Gopinath. Their work, presented at the NeurIPS conference, introduced a technique called ‘Reflexion,’ which allows AI agents to learn from mistakes, evaluate results, and adjust their actions through experience.
