Special Olympics hosts inclusion event in Civita Castellana

The Special Day initiative, organized by ViviCivita in collaboration with Special Olympics Italia Team Lazio, took place in Civita Castellana on October 29. The event focused on promoting sports, social sharing, and inclusion, involving students from the XXV Aprile comprehensive institute.

During the event, it was announced that the XXV Aprile school has officially affiliated with Special Olympics Italia. Stefania Cardenia, regional director of Special Olympics Italia Team Lazio, emphasized the importance of moving beyond theoretical principles to create concrete experiences that involve schools, local administrations, and communities.

The project, part of the “Territorio inclusivo – Lazio Regione inclusiva” initiative supported by the Lazio Region, aims to spread a culture of inclusion through activities in various municipalities and towns. Additionally, the regional annual convention in Rieti on November 7 is expected to involve further formal agreements.
