Special trains and shuttles arranged for UEFA games in Munich and Salzburg

In Munich, after three UEFA matches at the Allianz Arena – the Champions League final between Paris Saint‑Germain and Inter Milan on 31 May, the Nations League semi‑final between Germany and Portugal on 4 June, and the Nations League final on 8 June – the Bayerische Eisenbahngesellschaft financed additional late‑night services. Special trains departed from Munich Hauptbahnhof later than usual, serving routes to Tegernsee, Lenggries, Bayrischzell, Rosenheim, Kufstein and Traunstein, with adjusted timetables to accommodate fans traveling home.

In Salzburg, the city prepared for roughly 30,000 supporters expected at the UEFA Super Cup between Paris Saint‑Germain and Aston Villa on 12 August at the stadium in Wals‑Siezenheim. Organisers set up a fan festival, designated meeting points at the Old Market and Kapitelplatz, and provided shuttle buses to the venue. A budget of €400,000 was allocated for fan programmes, mobility and security measures, shared by the city, the state and tourism agencies.
