Specialized AI projects launched for institutional and local heritage use

The Faculty of Agronomy at the University of Buenos Aires (FAUBA) has developed Noema, an institutional artificial intelligence system hosted on its own servers. Designed to increase technological autonomy, Noema is currently being used to automate administrative processes, such as expense reporting. The project aims to expand its utility into human resources, teaching, research, and institutional management, transforming raw information into actionable knowledge.

In Spain, a specialized AI project is being implemented in Boedo de Castrejón to preserve local rural memory. Led by Jesús Manuel Rodríguez Alejos, the initiative focuses on organizing local history, oral traditions, architecture, and natural heritage. Unlike general-purpose chatbots, this system is designed for high reliability, featuring a mechanism to acknowledge when information is unavailable rather than generating false data. The project serves as a pilot model intended for replication in other rural Spanish municipalities.
