Specialized craft and sport events scheduled for France in 2026

Two distinct specialized events are scheduled to take place in France in late 2026.

The second edition of the Concours de forge des Yvelines will be held on September 26 and 27, 2026, at the Parc des expositions in Mantes-la-Jolie. The competition features various categories, including novices, intermediate, open, and veterans, testing technical mastery, speed, and precision in metalwork and shoeing.

Additionally, the inaugural TIR EXPO is set for October 3 and 4, 2026, at the Centre National de Tir Sportif in Châteauroux-Déols. Organized by Larivière Organisation, the event aims to be a major national gathering for sport shooting, featuring over 100 exhibitors and 500 stalls. The venue, which hosted shooting events for the Paris 2024 Olympics, will allow visitors to test various disciplines, including 10, 25, and 50-meter shooting, ball-trap, and long-distance shooting.
