Specialized founder Mike Sinyard to return as CEO

Specialized founder Mike Sinyard will return to the role of CEO on November 1, 2026. He succeeds Armin Landgraf, who has decided to step down from the position after leading the California-based company for two years.

Landgraf, a prominent figure in the European cycling industry with previous leadership roles at Pon. Bike and Canyon, stated that his decision was personal. He noted that he is leaving the company in a solid position with a clear strategy and an exceptional team.

Sinyard, who is 76 years old, previously held the CEO position for nearly half a century before stepping down in 2022. During his absence from the top role, he remained with the company as founder, chairman, and Chief Rider Advocate.
