Speed enforcement activity reported in Alentejo and Spain

These include five average speed controls and four instantaneous speed controls distributed across the districts of Beja and Évora, as well as the Alentejo Litoral area. On a broader scale, a speed camera located at kilometer 326 of the A7 highway in the Valencia region of Spain has emerged as one of the most active in Europe. According to data from the European Drivers Association (AEA), this specific device recorded 90,766 infractions in 2025. This high volume is attributed to the heavy traffic flow on the A7, a major Spanish artery. In comparison, Portugal's SINCRO system has detected a total of 460,672 speeding infractions, though specific individual camera rankings for the country are not publicly disclosed.
