Speed Skating Canada names team for World Tour in Vancouver and Montreal

Speed Skating Canada has announced a 12-athlete roster for the upcoming ISU Short Track World Tour events scheduled for Vancouver and Montreal. The competitions will take place from October 23 to October 25 in Vancouver and from October 30 to November 1 in Montreal.

The Canadian team is led by national champions Florence Brunelle and Félix Roussel. The squad includes several high-profile athletes, such as four-time Olympic medallist Courtney Sarault and reigning 500m Olympic and World Champion Steven Dubois. Other notable members include Olympic medallists Maxime Laoun and Danaé Blais.

While several veteran skaters are returning to the World Tour, athletes including Victoria Jean-Baptiste, Alexandre Migner, and Antoine Gagnon-Lamarche will be making their debuts on home ice. The selections were determined based on results from the 2026 Canadian Short Track Championships.
