Speedball Summer 2026 fashion showcase in Kampala draws youth and Guinness partnership

On August 1, 2026 the Speedball Summer event took place at Motiv in Bugolobi, Kampala, bringing together streetwear, music, art and performance in a youth‑led cultural showcase. Guinness Smooth partnered with the event through its “Make It Yours” campaign, inviting audience members to redesign runway garments, adding colour, details or entirely new concepts. Brand manager Denise Paula Nazzinda said the initiative creates “opportunities for young people to express themselves boldly and turn their ideas into something meaningful.”

Founder David Mulolo collaborated with Joshua Waiswa (Josh SB) and the 360 Immersive team to merge the fashion show with a live orchestra, delivering crisp lighting and a soundtrack that shifted from cinematic drama to a closing set featuring Kanye West and Jay‑Z’s “N**as in Paris.” The event highlighted creativity, collaboration and self‑expression within Kampala’s creative community.
