Speedway junior Bartosz Bańbor recovers after serious crash in Krsko

Polish speedway rider Bartosz Bańbor suffered a serious crash during the SGP2 qualifying round in Krsko, Slovenia. He broke his collarbone and a middle‑hand bone and was taken to hospital, where he underwent a successful operation. Bańbor announced the procedure went well and that he will begin rehabilitation soon.

The injury means Bańbor will miss Orlen Oil Motor Lublin's upcoming match against Stelmet Falubaz in Zielona Góra, though the team remains in contention for a playoff spot.
