Polish speedway: Pludra discusses playoff errors and Pawełczak debuts in Grand Prix

In Polish speedway, Kacper Pludra addressed his performance during the PGE Ekstraliga promotion playoffs. Following a race against Anders Thomsen in the match between Hunters PSŻ Poznań and Gezet Stal Gorzów, Pludra admitted to making tactical errors. He noted that instead of focusing on his own line to maintain speed, he spent too much energy looking back to block Thomsen, which allowed the Dane to overtake him and secure three points.

Separately, 17-year-old Maksymilian Pawełczak made his debut in the Speedway Grand Prix in Toruń. Representing Abramczyk Polonia Bydgoszcz, Pawełczak finished 16th with two points. Despite a third-place finish in a sprint race, the young rider expressed that the intensity of competing against the world's best was a significant challenge, noting that experienced riders took every opportunity to exploit his mistakes.
