Speedway riders injured in collision during Łódź vs Bydgoszcz match

A high-stakes speedway match between H. Skrzydlewska Orzeł Łódź and Abramczyk Polonia Bydgoszcz resulted in a 45:45 draw and two significant injuries. During the seventh heat, a collision occurred between Villads Nagel and Krzysztof Buczkowski while they were battling for second place.

Following the crash, Buczkowski was taken to the hospital for medical evaluation. Villads Nagel, despite experiencing intense pain, continued to compete in the event and even secured a victory in the ninth heat. However, post-race medical examinations confirmed that Nagel suffered a broken arm.

Nagel, who was on loan to Łódź, has announced that he will be moving to Gezet Stal Gorzów to compete in the PGE Ekstraliga next season, marking the end of his tenure with the Łódź club.
