Spencer Leniu signs four-year deal with Parramatta Eels
Spencer Leniu has signed a four-year contract with the Parramatta Eels, set to begin in 2027. The deal is reported to be worth more than $850,000 per season.
The 26-year-old prop joins the Eels following a premiership win with the Sydney Roosters in the NRL Grand Final against the Newcastle Knights. The Roosters agreed to release Leniu from the final year of his current contract to allow the move.
Parramatta General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill described the signing as a major boost for the club, calling Leniu one of the “elite middle forwards in the game.” Leniu, who has represented New South Wales and Samoa, will join the Eels for pre-season training later this year.
