Spencer Pratt urges voters to support Steve Hilton for Governor

Spencer Pratt is advising former supporters of his Los Angeles mayoral campaign to focus on the California gubernatorial election rather than choosing between mayoral candidates Karen Bass and Nithya Raman. Pratt suggested that electing Steve Hilton as governor could provide a check on Los Angeles leadership and intervene in potential failures associated with Raman’s leadership.

Hilton has also criticized both mayoral candidates, describing Bass as having failed Los Angeles and labeling Raman an extremist due to her affiliation with the Democratic Socialists of America.

In response to the political landscape, some commentators have warned voters against supporting Raman to avoid socialist influence, citing the Western States Regional Council of Carpenters' endorsement of Raman following a disagreement with Bass over union-wage mandates in affordable housing projects.
