Spennymoor Town unveils Moors Lounge hospitality as Newcastle United U21 play pre‑season friendly

Spennymoor Town Football Club has opened the Moors Lounge, a newly branded first‑floor hospitality venue at The Brewery Field for the 2026/27 season. The £30‑per‑person package includes exclusive lounge access, a private bar, a pre‑match buffet, reserved seating in the Main Stand, premium glass‑served drinks and post‑match interaction with players and management; existing ticket holders can upgrade for £14.

The Moors Lounge was the setting for Newcastle United’s Under‑21 side’s first pre‑season friendly following the announced departure of head coach Eddie Howe. The match featured academy players such as Matheos Ferreira, Trevan Sanusi and Rory Finneran, and was attended by Newcastle staff including coach Robbie Stockdale, providing a low‑key backdrop to the club’s ongoing managerial transition.
